Strange

I was just a step behind,

I didn't realized then,

But only now,

I was lost,

Lost in those eyes,

Lost in translation,

Just for a moment, but life paused,

It was neither sunny nor foggy,

As it usually was there,

But was windy n drizzling, quite rare,

Love was in air,

Everything but you hazed,

A spark triggered,

And I was dazed,

I couldn't spoke for years infinite,

Eyes waited in anticipation,

But heart deserted mind,

As I wonder why it failed to pump in front,

Maybe it had found peace in you,

Some said crush,

Some said infatuation,

I know not either,

But the infusion made an ecstasy,

A lot like love.

And now at present,

You are thousand miles away,

It's strange but once again I wait for you,

With a feeling something like happiness,

And once again love is in air.

Only now I have started talking to you,

But feel like I have known you always,

As if some meetings are decided long back,

Even before the bodies meet,

Just for a while but as it happened then,

With a belief that it will happen again,

And not just for a while.
